First snow of the year

Last night we had our first real snow of the year. By the time all was said and done, we probably had about 3 or 4 inches of snow. I have to say, I love the morning after a big snow, especially if it is sunny. Because it's winter, everything is dead and brown before the snow. The the snow comes along and covers everything in a blanket of white. I love how the snow piles up in the tree branches. The pine tree outside our patio window looks really cool today. With the bright blue sky and the sun glinting off of things, it just looks beautiful. And like always, the beauty in nature makes me think about God. I feel like he made it beautiful just so we could look at it. Thanks, God.
